The State of Open Mic 2015
Writers go to open mic to try out new work on an audience, make a political statement, to entertain, to explore personal issues – for all kinds of reasons. Poets and writers who showcase at Open Mic and Spoken Word are invited to submit your work for inclusion in an anthology designed to highlight the current state of performance poetry and prose in NC. If you are a current or former North Carolina poet or writer on the open mic circuit, this call for submissions is for you.

$10 for four submissions
We are accepting submissions until we have enough work for an anthology, but submissions are already coming in, so please submit soon. Contributors to this anthology receive a FREE copy of the anthology plus additional copies at 50% of retail.
Submit your poems by e-mailing in one Word or RTF document to submissions@sablebooks.org. In the body of the e-mail, include your bio and indicate your preferred open mic or region of the state.
