Anthology Submissions are Closed

Thank you to all who have submitted work!

We seek work that explores the intersections of disability and trauma. 
Include on your cover letter a third-person bio, as well as a brief statement about how you identify as a disabled, chronically ill, and/or neurodivergent writer.

Editor Hannah Soyer is a queer disabled writer who holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Kansas. Writing that relies on or uses racial slurs, gender or sexuality based slurs, or misogynistic stereotypes will not be considered.

Guidelines & Requirements

  • Must be written in English
  • We are accepting only poetry or prose poetry pieces
  • No more than two (2) pages of writing when formatted at a document size of 8.5×11″ and 12pt font (Your work may be differently formatted but may not exceed this length at this size)
  • Acceptable file formats are DOC, DOCX, RTF, and PDF
  • All work must be original and either previously unpublished or accompanied by publication acknowledgment
  • The open submissions period is not a contest; manuscripts are not reviewed anonymously
  • Accompanied by a single-page Cover Letter (this does not count toward the page count for written material)

  • Name
  • Email Address
  • Phone Number
  • A third-person bio
  • A statement about how you identify as disabled, chronically ill, and/or neurodivergent
